Beautifully remodeled piece of history. We loved that the Republic Steakhouse was right on the property and we didn’t have to leave to have a wonderful dinner!

The room was comfortable & clean. We were directly in front of the smaller swimming pool in the terrace building I believe. There was a cute seating area & fire pit out there. We really enjoyed the main pool area too with drink service out there. The 9 Flags bar has delicious drinks. Check-in was very easy. The staff were all friendly & so professional. We had dinner at the Republic Steakhouse & experienced the most incredible steaks & fresh bread. The Old Fashioneds from the bar were delicious & the service was great. We had breakfast at the Cafe & it was really good too. The location was perfect, walking distance to historic downtown, where there are many shops, restaurants, a brewery, etc. We will definitely return to the Fredonia as soon as possible.

The staff was exceptional! It was amazing to see such a caring, welcoming, friendly, team - from servers, housekeeping, gift shop, front desk, and everyone else with whom we had contact. They all worked hard to provide exceptional customer care and make our stay special.

Breakfast was tasty, quick and reasonably priced. The service overall in the hotel was perfect. The renovation of the 1950's hotel looked very nice, comfortable, very modern.

Nice hotel, once a grand place but showing its age, however kept up to date with refurbishments. Clean and comfortable and good location in downtown. USB sockets and power points each side of the bed. Full facilities with bar, restaurant, cafe, and shop in lobby. Friendly and helpful staff.

Always love breakfast at First City and these 2 days did not disappoint! Missed the Republic Steakhouse this time around but will be sure to catch up next visit; I love that place. The staff in the gift shop and front desk continue to amaze and set the standard for being courteous and respectful without coming across as it being fake. Love the Terrace room 135 as usual and cannot wait to return once again

Breakfast was not included, but we did enjoy what we ordered. I actually brought my leftover chicken fried steak and added it to biscuits and gravy. Yum! The night before I had the largest chicken fried steak in the cafe that I have ever seen.
